Women now, than ever before, have the chance to be in leadership. What is left is the willingness on the part of women to take up the challenge and offer themselves.

What is also true is that the obstacles that have over the years prevented women from being in decision making positions are still there. The good news, however, is that all these obstacles are surmountable. What we need is the collective resolve to change our situation of invisibility and work towards being heard  and seen.

WOMEC has decided to use the website as a meeting place for gender sensitive women and men across the globe.
